Commercial Lighting and HVAC controls have experienced some success, but adoption is not what many of us had anticipated or hoped for in our programs, particularly when targeting small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs). Streamlined integration of lighting and HVAC systems facilitated by LLLC cost reductions, technical advances and standardization efforts now offer an opportunity to jumpstart adoption in these areas by dramatically increasing the depth and breadth of the customer, trade ally and utility value proposition by expanding the benefits and services offered through a systems approach to these technologies and the related utility measures and programs.
In this session, the presenters will explain the technologies and control strategies being deployed, detail best practices from emerging tech/pilot efforts to date, and share their vision of how these powerful enabling technologies, with just a few extra ingredients, can transform how programs approach SMBs in the future.
