Course Description:

This course provides learners with hands-on experience in creating market-driven strategies for the organization to be relevant with respect to their brand. A focus is placed on discovering and developing a set of unique competencies for a firm that, through strategic differentiation, leads to a sustainable competitive advantage in the marketplace.  
This course helps participants think about brand strategy from the strategic managerial point of view, not so much tactical, so that they can help their respective organizations create, gain support for, and execute strategies that will build strong brand equity and corresponding customer relationships.

After taking this course, you will be able to:

  • Understand, plan, and think strategically about an organization’s brand
  • Utilize marketing tools to analyze and measure brand and its competitors
  • Develop and measure brand strategy
  • Conduct a Brand Audit to identify gaps/opportunities and guide decisions

*Attendees must earn an 70% or higher on the final course test in order to earn 0.4 CEUs.

Liz brings over ten years of experience leading marketing teams and developing strategic marketing plans. She has helped a number of organizations construct and manage comprehensive marketing plans to build their brand, increase marketing efficiencies and customer experience, and exceed organizational goals. In her spare time, Liz teaches marketing courses at Viterbo University, including a graduate-level Strategic Branding course.


Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations received no later than 14 days prior to the training date will receive a refund, minus a 5% processing fee if paid with a credit card. Cancellations received after the cutoff date and no-shows will not receive a refund (cash or points). AESP reserves the right to cancel a training course at any time with reasonable notice given to all participants.
