This is an entry-level course on AI and machine learning for the energy services industries. We will review the history of AI, work through common prompt-engineering frameworks, and introduce automation tools. This course will lay the foundation for the following two courses on April 16 and 23, but each course can be taken independently.

Prior to co-founding Plentiful, Dr. Trager led machine learning and geospatial data science teams for several years on large teams, where his guidance was instrumental in advancing data-heavy, technical product development at scale. His entrepreneurial journey includes the leadership of Sustainabilist, a venture that he successfully led to acquisition.
He earned a Ph.D. from UC Berkeley, where he studied the application of statistical process control (SPC) and other mass production methodologies for energy efficiency in buildings.
