AESP Ontario Presents Planning the Energy Resilient Community of Tomorrow, Today

Please join the AESP Ontario Chapter for our on-going discussions of the key role municipalities play in achieving the country’s climate change goals.This “in-person” event will provide real world examples of the progress being made towards zero carbon in communities like London, Ontario. Join us on another trip over the rainbow to explore the transformative change required to make our zero carbon dreams come true.
This knowledge packed day will include:
- A hosted tour of Sifton’s West 5, a “Net Zero” community in London, Ontario. This visionary home to 1000’s is a very real demonstration of incorporating climate resilient, energy technology into community living space,
- Enbridge and London Hydro speaking to heat pump technology and integrating climate awareness, comfort and cost awareness for customers,
- The City of London highlighting their Climate Emergency Action Plan, focusing on what’s next and insight on how empowerment is key to achieving the plan’s goals.
- Food and networking at the former Kellogg’s plant, now called “The Factory” – a world class multi-enterprise property including beverage production, culinary excellence, golfing simulators and more than one trampoline.
