AESP’s Powered by Pride Group exists to create networking opportunities for members and provide education regarding LGBTQIA+ professional development issues and issues impacting our community’s relationship with energy. Such issues may include unique financial burdens, forced homelessness, under-employment, legal and politicized identity, equity, and visibility in the workplace.

👉 Ready to plug in? Log in to your AESP Member Profile, click Update Profile then go to the Account tab. In the left menu, select Personal Info, scroll down to Topic Committee and Special Interest Group selections, check the boxes for the committees you want to join, and click Save.

For additional guidance, please refer to our Special Interest Groups membership instructions for a visual walkthrough of each step.

Support the communities that make our organization vibrant, dynamic and forward-thinking. Our Special Interest Groups (SIGs) bring people together around shared passions, identities and professional goals—creating spaces where ideas flourish, connections deepen and voices are amplified.

By sponsoring a SIG, you’re not just funding events—you’re investing in belonging, innovation and impact. Your support helps these groups host meaningful programs, expand access and empower members to lead, collaborate and grow.

Join us in strengthening these communities. Become a sponsor and help turn shared interests into lasting influence. Contact [email protected] for more information!
